Ty Woods is a serial entrepreneur and former CEO of Artportunity Knocks Inc, a nonprofit organization she and her spouse co-founded more than 15 years ago which provides STEM and Arts Education to students across the state of Georgia. She leads the Business field as a thought-leader in Education, Small Businesses, Nonprofits and Grant Development and lectures across the country. She is an avid writer and currently has a book out called, "Compact Guide: 14 Ways to Make $1,000 A Month During A Pandemic.".

 

She has an MBA from Coles College of Business and a Bachelor's in Business Management from Life University where she graduated Valedictorian.

 

To date, all of her businesses combined has generated millions, but she prides herself not by what she’s brought in, but in what she’s given back to her church and other local causes. Her businesses continue to grow as she expands into the government contracting sectors, real estate rentals and on-demand education which has expanded her brands both nationally and internationally.

She is an expert in landing corporate partnerships and fundraising for nonprofits and developing revenue strategies for small businesses. Some of the partnerships she's landed have been from companies such as: Target, American Family Insurance, American Woodmark (Timberlake), Cox Enterprises, Meta, Hearts & Science, and Paypal, just to name a few. Her passion is to “even the playing field” for small businesses, especially those led by women and people of color. 

 

Ty Woods is married to Chris Woods and has two children, Dalorian and Amber. She enjoys traveling, lecturing, and reading business articles.
